Night At The Museum

“An action-adventure-comedy that comes to life by night. Good-hearted dreamer Larry Daley (Ben Stiller), despite being perpetually down on his luck, thinks he’s destined for something big. But even he could never have imagined how “big,” when he accepts what appears to be a menial job as a graveyard-shift security guard at a museum of natural history.”
Shawn Levy (dir.)
Ben Stiller
Carla Gugino
Dick Van Dyke
Mickey Rooney
Robin Williams

I was actually contacted by a rep for the movie a couple months back. Funny, he must have been searching around for museum folk to get buzz about the movie going.

Hi,
Mickey Rooney’s names for Ben Stiller were hilarious but they were so funny that I forgot them imediately upon leaving the movie.
I found one clip on you tube where he used the name Butterscotch but I was wondering if anyone has a better memory than me and can remember more of them.
thanks,
Mike

The movie itself was pretty entertaining with one exception, the ex-wife, this woman was a prime example of why certain men are incarcerated.
That woman ruined the movie for me, and to make her an example of a mother to the young children viewing this movie is inexcusable. The movie should be rated R for her role…

Sigh…I must to wait February to see the movie here in Italy…

Some of the mannequins were no face cotton/cloth faces with no
features, but Robin Williams character was said to be made of wax
(looked like foam when he was cut in two). However, in reality —
how many museums can afford “wax” mannequins? Maybe I have
been out of the loop on exhibits……
