A funny thing

Yesterday Apple open doors of new store at Fifth avenue. From the night before people create a line to access to the Apple Store. At 5pm all the plaza was full of people, till 1am there was person in line. Without any advertising, this the force of evangelism…I write early in this blog about importance of evangelism for museums.

Can happen in a museum what happens at Apple Store yesterday? In Boston at AAM Conference I attend a session about PR before grand opening of museums. 18, 7 months of works before the opening, million dollars of expense…

…The Louvre…yes the OSCAR must to be assign to the LOUVRE.

Yesterday I watch the Da Vinci Code movie. I think that the book is better then the movie, I find the movie too slowly but with a very beautiful cinematography. All the shots take inside and outside the Louvre are fantastic and it (the Louvre) is the main actor!

I think that a movie like National Treasure with Nicolas Cage was more dynamic than the Da Vinci Code. Anyway I had a good time with my friends to watch the movie.

As Apple fellow and evangelist, from 25 years, I’m very happy for the opening of Apple Store on Fifth Avenue it is very fantastic, a totally glass cube…will be open 24h/365 days…

…arf arf…it is difficult to follow every Google innovation…Google Video is not a news…but searching for “museum” I find 1027 results…so…related video!!!

Google never finish to surprise us. From a couple of months Google acquire Sketchup a software company producer of Sketchup 3D environment…that I use to design my new house…

First result from Google acquisition is that now the basic version of Sketchup is free and there is a dedicated site called 3D warehouse where is possible to download and use 3D models of building…including museums … of course….
